Cancellation and Changes Policy

Deposit and balance
To reserve your dates, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the retreat price. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

If you cancel
Please tell us in writing (by email) as soon as possible. The date we receive your message is the cancellation date.

  • 60 days or more before arrival: you receive a refund of everything you’ve paid, minus the deposit. Alternatively, you may transfer your deposit to new dates within 12 months.
  • 30 to 59 days before arrival: 50% of the total price is retained, and the rest is refunded.
  • Fewer than 30 days before arrival: the full price is retained, and no refund is given.
  • No-shows and late arrivals: if you don’t arrive, the full price is retained. If you arrive late or leave early, we’re unable to refund unused nights or sessions.

Changing your dates
You can change your dates once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 45 days before arrival and we have availability. Later changes, or further changes, are treated as a cancellation and a new booking, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Changing the number of guests or the retreat
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability. Any difference in price is due at the time of the change.

If we need to cancel
In the rare event that we have to cancel your stay, for example due to illness, a safety concern, or something beyond our control, we’ll offer you new dates or a full refund of everything you’ve paid. We’re not responsible for flights, transfers or other travel costs you’ve booked.

Events beyond our control
We aren’t liable for failure to provide our services because of events outside our control, such as severe weather, road closures, natural disasters, government restrictions or utility failures. If this happens, we’ll work with you to rebook or, if we can’t, offer a refund of the amounts paid for services we couldn’t deliver.

Illness and emergencies
We understand that illness and emergencies happen. Where possible, we’ll offer to transfer your booking to new dates within 12 months. Because we host one booking at a time, we can’t guarantee this, so we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation and medical costs.

Travel insurance
We recommend you buy comprehensive travel insurance when you book, covering cancellation, medical care, and evacuation.

Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers follow the terms stated on the voucher and can be used to book any available dates until the expiry date.
